This means that going direct or using multiple agencies has become far more complicated and risky. If your hotel booking and transport are not confirmed through the same operator, Nusuk won't approve the visa. We've seen plenty of people caught out by this. Book everything in one place and save yourself the stress.

Umrah Visa from the UK
Umrah can be performed at any time of year, except during the Hajj period. Most nationalities don't have a quota, so if you have all your paperwork and book with an approved tour operator, there should be no problem in having your visa stamped. The visa type you need depends on your passport.
As part of our service, we also offer complete Umrah packages that cover your visa, flights, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, and all required transport, in line with Nusuk requirements, so everything is handled together without complications.
Umrah Visa Prices are set by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and can change. The figures below are approximate. Get in touch for a confirmed quote based on your specific travel dates and passport.

Documents You'll Need for Your Umrah Visa
The list is the same regardless of which visa type applies to you. However, specific Umrah visa requirements from the UK can vary slightly depending on your nationality and travel arrangements.
- A passport with at least 6 months' validity from the date you arrive in Saudi Arabia
- Passport-size photo. White background, full face showing, taken recently
- Confirmed return flight booking
- Hotel booking confirmation for Makkah and or Madinah
- You must pre-book transport through a Nusuk-compliant provider before applying for your visa.
- Meningitis ACWY vaccination certificate. Must be done at least 10 days before travel
- Women of all ages can now perform Umrah without a Mahram, even if travelling solo.
- UK visa or residence permit if you hold a non-British passport
Hajj Visa from the UK
Hajj is a different process entirely. Visas are not available on demand. The Saudi government allocates a quota to each country, and once that's gone, it's gone until the following year.
Every UK pilgrim must book through the official Nusuk platform. Bismillah Travels is an authorised service provider on Nusuk, and we offer full Hajj packages covering the visa, flights, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, and all ground services. If performing Hajj is your intention, speak to us as early as possible. Spaces fill up well in advance.
What You'll Need for a Hajj Visa
- Valid passport with a minimum of 6 months' validity
- Completed the official Hajj application form
- Recent passport-size photographs
- Meningitis ACWY vaccination certificate. Mandatory, taken no more than 3 years and no less than 10 days before travel
- Non-British passport holders will need UK residency documentation
